Introduction

Wrapped Beacon ETH (WBETH) is Binance’s liquid-staking token representing staked ETH on the Ethereum Beacon Chain plus accrued rewards. Users stake ETH via Binance to receive WBETH 1:1 initially; the token’s exchange rate vs ETH increases daily as staking rewards accumulate. WBETH is ERC-20 and mirrored on BNB Smart Chain for DeFi use. Redemption for ETH (or BETH on Binance) is always available, making WBETH a flexible alternative to locked Beacon deposits.
